DDA  implements Adopt A Block program

             The Cheyenne DDA Board of Directors is implementing a new program to attempt to bring a higher level of communication between the DDA Board of Directors and downtown Stakeholders.

             The Adopt a Block program is simple in its nature: DDA Board Members and staff have each adopted a block of downtown and will build a close relationship with the building and business owners on that block. Working with the property and business owners, the Clean and Safe staff and the DDA staff, the board representative will strive to ensure that the needs of property and business owners are met and that constituent feedback is received.

             Unfortunately, the blocks in the DDA district far outnumber the board members so the initial program will be limited to the core area. As the need and success of the initial program grows, new block representatives will be designated for the areas not originally covered.

             We hope this program will help further develop an open dialogue between the Cheyenne DDA and the downtown Stakeholders. If your block is not in the core area as identified by the DDA please know that the DDA Board of Directors and staff are very interested in hearing your thoughts and concerns about downtown.
