Boot Bucks is a promotion to encourage shopping in downtown Cheyenne. We are printing 10,000 Boot Bucks coupons and will be distributed to visitors through the Visit Cheyenne, to attendees toDepot Plaza events, to shoppers by participating members and through other promotional efforts of the DDA. Coupons of 20% , 10% and 5% will be distributed. Coupons are redeemable on purchases up to $300. Maximum 20% discount to be received by shopper would be $60 on a $300
purchase. The DDA is offering a $500 cash prize to a winner who submits their email contact on the back of the coupon.

Members of DCMA who participate are being asked to absorb the 5 % discount. If a 10% coupon or 20% coupon is redeemed, participating members can submit a copy of the sales receipt and the redeemed coupon to the DCMA for reimbursement. Signs identifying you as a participating member will be provided. Different sign sizes are available. Flyers will also be available for distribution. The Downtown Cheyenne Mercantile Association strives to foster communication, encourage joint efforts, increase profitability and enhance awareness of individual downtown businesses while promoting downtown pride.

The DCMA has several different committees working to enhance business downtown. We hope you work with us to make downtown a vibrant business community!

The Downtown Cheyenne Mercantile Association (DCMA) hosts downtown events to encourage visitors and residents to make downtown Cheyenne a destination for shopping and services. The DCMA offers a major event in both the spring and in the fall, as well as hosting a Clean Up Cheyenne Day and Christmas promotions.  

Downtown Cheyenne Mercantile Association and the Downtown Development Authority are hosting the Wild Blue Country Band from the United States Air Force Academy beginning at 10:30am on Tuesday, July 27th. The Thunderbirds Autograph Signing will be from 1:00pm to 2:20pm. The Air Force Orange County Chopper (motorcycle) will be on display.   All events will be held on the Cheyenne Depot Plaza.

The DCMA is partnering with the DDA to host a cleaning of downtown Cheyenne on Saturday, July 17th from 9am to 11am. Volunteers will be served a free lunch between 11am and 11:30am. We hope you and your staff will join us on this date to clean up Cheyenne for Cheyenne Frontier Days™.

We encourage you to review your business location for minor improvements that can be made to make downtown Cheyenne shine! If you need help with funding these events, contact the Downtown Development Authority to see if one of their Capital Improvement Grants could help you with your improvement projects.

Become a Member! We are initiating the 2010 Membership Drive and we encourage you to be a member of the DCMA. Your membership dues help us to host downtown events and advertise downtown Cheyenne.
