The Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority can provide the following support of businesses operating within the DDA's district in downtown Cheyenne. Several programs are offered for streetscape, marketing and parking:

Architect Assistance: The DDA will provide architectural and/or engineering assistance to help define a full range of improvements and the costs of those improvements. This program allows a maximum of eight (8) hours of assistance by a licensed professional at the rate of $80 per hour.

Marketing: In addition, the Downtown Development Authority is willing to partner on a marketing campaign to introduce a new business within the DDA district.

Parking: The Downtown Development Authority has a limited number of parking spaces available in the three City of Cheyenne downtown parking facilities or locations - the City Center Parking Structure, the George Cox Parking Structure and the 17th Street & Warren Avenue parking lot.

As a downtown partner, the Downtown Development Authority is offering discounted parking permits in any of these three locations (subject to availability) for any new permit at a rate of $25 per month per space. This discounted program (a current City permit is $45/month and increases to $55/month in the near future) is being offered to encourage employers and employees to refrain from using on street parking which is intended for downtown patrons and to further encourage economic development of downtown Cheyenne. This is a first come - first served program and will cease when the supply of DDA permits is exhausted.

Only businesses or individuals within the Downtown Development Authority's district and only those businesses or individuals who currently do not have permits through the City of Cheyenne are eligible for the discounted permits. You may not at any time cancel your City issued parking permits to take advantage of the DDA Parking Program. Businesses that currently hold city issued permits may purchase permits that are in addition to their current permit total at the DDA discounted rate. The City's Parking Department will administer and management this special DDA parking program and its current rules and regulations will apply.
